All About RapidWarranty.com

RapidWarranty.com offers the heavy-duty trucking industry’s only web-based warranty transaction processing service based on the ATA Technology and Maintenance Council’s (TMC) Recommended Practice 807 (RP-807) The Universal Equipment Claim Process (formerly known as the Universal Claim Form) and the TMC/ATA Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS 2000).  The Company has been an active member of the VMRS committee since 2001, and its president, Bharat Thacker, is the chairman of the Electronic Standard for Repair Order Task Force.

As part of its participation in the development process, RapidWarranty.com created an electronic implementation of the Driver Equipment Condition Report/Vehicle Condition Report (DECR/VCR) using VMRS 2000 codes and made it available to TMC members at no charge.  RapidWarranty.com built on that effort in developing the comprehensive web-enabled transaction processing service they are now offering to the industry. The service uses RP-807 compliant processes and VMRS 2000 codes to fully automate the warranty claims submission process with intelligent software to route and format claims information for OEMs and suppliers.

The same web-enabled transaction processing service is now being extended to handle DECR/VCR reporting and repair order generation. Ultimately, RapidWarranty.com will provide a comprehensive, end-to-end capability for fleets, independent repair shops, OEMs, and suppliers to identify, repair, and track all repair activities using only one web-enabled service.
